Here’s is what we did!
FRIDAY
The Celebration Began on Friday, October 5 at 6pm: the Lancer Warm-up Party and Fundraiser for Kansas City Hospice at the Belvedere Loft in the beautifully restored Union Station, 30 West Pershing Road, KCMO.
Greet friends and raise money for a great cause!
SATURDAY
Saturday morning, October 6:  10:00am           
Tour of the old schoolhouse. Gone are the swell blue panels on the facade, gone are slippery ramps to put dance wax on, gone is our grand main entrance on Mission Road.  
Saturday afternoon
Explore areas around the Crown Center and Union Station. Ride the new (free) streetcar to explore a downtown you won't recognize.  the River Market (kcrivermarket.com), Crossroads Arts District (kccrossroads.org), the World War I Museum and Memorial (theworldwar.org), Have lunch in the new Power & Light District  (powerandlightdistrict.com) or at the old Freight House (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freight_House).

Saturday evening
THE BIG SHOW! 6:30 PM: Washington Room at the Westin Crown Center Hotel. A celebration of our fifty years of good living since we said farewell to Shawnee Mission East. Reconnect with classmates you haven’t seen in years. A delicious buffet, great music and a return to Camelot. Cash bar.
